“Nestled in the peaceful grounds of Maderjoon’s House(Khoone Madarjoon), you’ll find a majestic palm tree of love. This beautiful tree has been around for over 60 years and has stood the test of time with incredible strength and grace. It’s truly a sight to behold! The story of this beloved tree starts with a teacher named Mr. Kiani, who falls in love with the daughter of the Deylami family’s first child. Originally from Mashhad and teaching in Ramsar, Mr. Kiani planted the sapling beside his wife’s father’s home so that she would not miss him during their separation. With each passing year, as the palm tree flourished, it became a symbol of enduring love and connection, a tangible reminder of familial bonds that transcended distance and time. Even now, decades after Mr. Kiani’s passing, Shari and her family still find solace in the shade of the palm tree’s fronds. Whenever any of us from the Deylami family see a palm tree, it instantly brings back memories of our Maderjoon’s House. We all cherish those moments and hold them close to our hearts.”
